Accommodation is within 46 Studio and Bay Suites, a two storey villa and a two bedroom family friendly Bay Suite located along the 3km private beach, arguably the best in Sri Lanka. All accommodation types have tropical garden or ocean views with their own verandah or terrace, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and expansive bathrooms.
The soft white sands gently lap the warm Indian Ocean waters and, from here, guests can explore coral reefs whilst snorkelling or scuba diving for shipwrecks. Uga Bay also has a collection of water sports including kayaks, wind surfs, sailing and jet skis. The historical sites in Batticaloa are a short hours drive away and there is the opportunity for a day trip to UNESCO World Heritage sites in Polonnaruwa, taking you back in time to the ruins and seeing the sunken ships from WWII. Visits to local fishing villages are always a fun way to get to know the area better.
