Kapamba Bushcamp
A romantic and tranquil camp situated in a remote corner of South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. Set on the banks of the shallow, spring-fed Kapamba river, this Bushcamp is surrounded by some of the park’s richest wildlife.
Kapamba Bushcamp combines the isolation and superb game-viewing opportunities of a true Bushcamp with a touch of contemporary sophistication. Watching elephants take a cooling dip in the river can be quite an experience when you’re lounging in your own sunken stone bath tub. These entirely open-fronted chalets are the ultimate in bush indulgence. Clever wrought-iron gates are drawn each evening so you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Africa at night without worrying about unwanted visitors wandering into your room!
The Kapamba River is only meters in front of camp, and guests can bathe, walk or enjoy sundowners in the river. With an exotic Mediterranean touch, the four chalets are open-fronted with wrought iron gates as described above. There are 2 twin chalets (queen size beds) and 2 double chalets each (king size bed each), all with open-fronted, en-suite bathrooms featuring huge sunken stone baths and twin showers.
Activities include game drives day and night, guided walking safaris and birdwatching. The camp has solar power for lighting and battery-charging and solar-heated water.
