Chindeni Bushcamp
In a beautiful location on the edge of a permanent lagoon where hippo chortle and elephant wallow, stands Chindeni Bushcamp, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful tented bushcamps in the South Luangwa, Zambia.

At Chindeni Bushcamp you can combine the thrill of sleeping under canvas with style and comfort in a rustically luxurious tent. Gaze out from your private veranda onto the lagoon which entices a wide variety of wildlife from miles around. Relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the Chindeni hills from the multi-level central lounge and dining area.
Located on the banks of an oxbow lagoon which is frequented by game, Chindeni Bushcamp has three spacious canvas tents raised on wooden decks which can be made up as twins or doubles and one family room consisting two bedrooms. Each tented chalet has solar power electricity (good for charging phones and cameras, not for hairdryers), well appointed bathrooms and, for an extra touch of adventure, outdoor twin showers and bath to under under the stars. The family tent enjoys it’s own lounge area and extended verandah – ideal for families with children aged 12 years and older or friends travelling together. The central dining area, deck with fire pit and bar with stunning views towards the Chindeni Hills.
Activities include day and night game drives, guided walking safaris and bird-watching. The joy of Chindeni is being by the water so, should you prefer a relaxed morning, there will no doubt be wildlife and bird life to enjoy from your deck.
