Four Seasons, Desroches

Four Seasons at Desroches is a 5* Seychelles resort in the Amirante Islands - a cluster of remote coral atolls that are considered some of the world's most pristine and untouched. This resort is remote and secluded yet a 35 minute flight from Mahé.

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island offers couples and families a luxurious island hideaway for rejuvenation and adventure. Located in the Amirantes group of islands in the Seychelles, Desroches is 6km long and 1.5km wide. A Coralline island as opposed to Granitic, Desroches lies flat, edged by 14 kilometres of soft white sand protected by a coral reef, rich in colourful marine life and undeniably one of the finest fly fishing and diving destinations in the world. This island is truly any outdoor enthusiast and nature lover’s Mecca; guests are free to explore the island’s unspoilt beauty and fascinating flora and fauna.

All 71 villas, suites and residences at the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island offer private pools and direct beach access and feature a simple, natural style with a warm, relaxed feel incorporating island prints, rattan furniture, natural wood accents and collectibles from the sea trading route. The open-plan Beach Villas are perfect for couples, spilling out to a wooden deck and relaxing garden with a private pool and cabana. Families needing more space should aim for the Sunset Beach Suites which feature a separate alcove with a sofabed, ideal for parents wanting to enjoy the spacious suite once the children are tucked away. For even more space, the two bedroom Desroches Suite or three, four and five bedroom Residence Villas offer a luxurious home away from home.

Aside from relaxing on the 14km of secluded white sandy beach, there is plenty to do on the island. Guests are encouraged to explore the island by bike or kayak, and there are plenty of watersports activities to choose from. The marine life around Desroches make it a diving and fishing paradise and the resort can organise scuba trips and game and fly fishing. Boat trips can be organised to explore some of the outer islands by boat, or simply enjoy a cruise at sunset.
