Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai

The Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai is spectacularly located in the lush Mae Rim Valley, just 30 minutes north of the city of Chiang Mai. Overlooking Doi Suthep Mountain range, this stunning retreat is set on 32 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and terraces, which feature two small lakes, lily ponds, waterfalls and a working rice farm, complete with its own family of water buffalo.

The Four Seasons Chiang Mai features 98 lavishly appointed Pavilions, Villas and Residences which reflect the style of the Lanna Kingdom, a historically significant period of Thai history. The 64 spacious Pavilions are located in two storey clusters and have views of either the verdant gardens, the mountains or the rice paddy fields from their private outdoor Sala. Next up, there are 12 luxurious one-bedroom villas with stunning views onto the mountains, and private pools set within walled gardens. The 22 vast Private Residences are the most exclusive accommodation option. These range from one to four bedrooms, most with private swimming pools and all with their own personal butler to attend to your every need.

With six world class dining options, the cuisine at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai is superb and there is something for every taste palette. Bill Bensley’s designed, Rim Tai Kitchen, is set in a Thai Teak house and serves a menu of elevated street style food as well as offering Northern Thai cooking classes.  KHAO features ancient recipes and customs brought together in a contemporary Pan-Asian menu, or for the ultimate in romance, the Rice Barn is a private dining venue overlooking the resort’s rice paddies and lake.

The Ratree Bar and Lounge has a casual ambience, complete with fine wines, creative cocktails and a delicious selection of Thai and international snacks. Located on the upper deck of the gorgeous main swimming pool, guests at Ratree can relax with a book or a game of billiards during the day, and gather in the evening to watch the sunset.

The facilities at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai are superb, and include tennis courts, a yoga barn for meditation or individual sessions, a fully-equipped fitness and exercise studio, plus a Kids Club catering for children aged four to twelve years.

The luxurious Wara Cheewa Spa has seven treatment rooms for an extensive range of treatments inspired by ancient Thai rituals, using herbs, spices and aromatic oils sourced from rural origins. Features include outdoor showers, private herbal steam rooms, outdoor soaking tubs and tropical rain shower massage tables.
