Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle
Luxury doesn’t come much more spoiling than the Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, set on the border of Thailand and Laos overlooking the mystical Mekong River. Accessed by river boat, and set amidst Thailand’s exotic bamboo forests, this safari-style lodge features just 15 supremely luxurious tented suites.
Rooms are generously positioned away from each to guarantee privacy and fully air-conditioned with interiors reminiscent of 19th century expeditions, complete with roll top baths, handcrafted furniture, hardwood floors, mosquito nets and hurricane lamps.
Ideal for a family or group of close friends, the Explorers lodge is a newly created, safari-style lodge with two airy bedrooms and a spacious deck, featuring an outdoor plunge pool with stunning views of the surrounding jungle.
Dining is an integral part of your experience, similar to an African safari. Breakfast is served in the main restaurant, while lunch may be a picnic in the jungle prior to an afternoon activity. Dinner is enjoyed at a different location every night, whether it is a barbecue under the stars or dinner by campfire at the Elephant Camp.
A three or four night adventure here is inclusive of exquisite cuisine, wines from the cellar, as well as a host of in camp activities such as learning how to train the camp’s elephants, river trips on the mighty Mekong, jungle trekking and learning more about the region’s fascinating culture and tradition. Between activities, relax and cool off in the swimming pool with spectacular river views, or pamper yourself at the Four Season’s spa set amidst the bamboo forests of the Golden Triangle.
