Heritage Line Ginger

Heritage Line Ginger is a luxury wooden junk offering one or two night cruises around the beautiful Lan Ha Bay area of the Halong Archipelago. Ginger is the first of its kind to explore this tranquil area, where you will see significantly fewer commercial boats, and be invited to gain a deeper insight into the local way of life.

This is intimate cruising with just 12 large suites found on two decks, all flooded with natural light and each with a well-sized balcony. The six Junior Suites on the Main Deck have separate sofa lounge areas, and the four Signature Suites are the same size on the Upper Deck. The most luxurious are the two Regent Suites, which are 538 square feet, themed on mythical Vietnamese birds and have Jacuzzis.

Ginger offers ample space for relaxation. On deck there is a wonderful swimming pool, surrounded by comfortable shaded sunbeds, and at the stern there are two spa rooms with dramatic views of the bay. The food is of the highest quality and meals can be enjoyed al-fresco on the terrace, in your cabin, or in the stylish restaurant and bar with almost 360 degree views of the bay through its floor to ceiling glass windows.

On board activities include exploring the local island life on bikes and on foot, cooking demonstrations, Tai Chi classes on the sun deck and morning kayaking through the limestone karst scenery.
