Six Exclusive Use villas located on a private conservancy in the Northern Masai Mara. Owned and operated by the wonderful House in the Wild team these six villas offer a home from home for families or friends seeking complete privacy on safari, whilst experiencing what life is really like in the Mara.
We love these villas! Each with their own unique design, from “Safari Casual” to “Ultimate Luxury” and with their own exclusive use 4×4 vehicle and guide from the team at House in the Wild.
Tailored menus are created to the guests’ preferences and can be enjoyed pinic style whilst out on safari, al fresco back at the villa, on one of the shaded verandahs or in the dining area. Special occasions are always celebrated in style!
Game drives, sundowners, walks, bike rides, tree planting, swimming, fishing, runs, tennis, billiards, croquet and long lunches – the best ingredients for enjoying time together.
Beyond this, guests can learn about the deep-rooted conservation story of House in the Wild by joining one of the team, visiting local farmers. Learn about their animals and how they live in harmony alongside the wildlife of the Mara. Children can try their hand at the art of beading, a skill that Kenyans are so well known for, at the Mara Training Centre or in the local manyatta where guests are immersed in the Masai culture. These elements are what make House in the Wild unique. They are not “tourist” experiences, but opportunities to meet with friends of House in the Wild, to understand what it is like to live in the Mara ecosystem and the positive impact international tourism can have on the future of wildlife conservation and communities when done right.
