A standalone under-canvas villa with two expansive bedroom suites set off a central area with its own lounge, dining area and library space facing out onto the deck with a private swimming pool.
Indulgent en-suite facilities are offered in each bedroom, with a central chaise longue, two indoor showers and private outdoor shower. And after a day of desert adventure, settle in for a soak in the deep freestanding bath of shimmering brass.
Throughout Jack’s Private Camp the aesthetic pays tribute to the timeless charm and 1940’s campaign style that has long defined Jack’s Camp (a favourite for many Exceptional Travel clients). This exciting new offering doesn’t stray far from what has made Jacks’ Camp such a well loved camp. Expect a colourful blend of unabashed majesty and casual luxury, from Persian and North African rugs to the shimmering abundance of brass, and luxuriant hand-woven African textiles.
Access to the famous Jacks Camp Pool Pavilion, Tea Pavilion and Natural History Museum filled with archaeological and natural treasures can be enjoyed at any point by guests of Jacks Private Camp. A smaller chest of artifacts can be found at Jacks Private Camp.
The villa comes with its own vehicle and private guide, personally trained by safari icon Ralph Bousfield to bring the remarkable Makgadikgadi Pans to life. Together with a dedicated chef and host, this is a tailor-made safari at its finest.
