Wild Hill

The newest addition to House in the Wilds collection of high end, family owned, private villas in Kenya’s Northern Masai Mara, Wild Hill soars above the clouds. The Masai Mara is well known for it’s incredible wildlife density and diversity and guests at Wild Hill are able to enjoy this in all it’s abundance. Wild Hill however is more than a property used to enjoy the Mara Ecosystem, it is an experience in itself.

Sensitively curated with luxury and sustainability at front of mind, Wild Hill is nestled into the Kileleoni Hill, the highest point in the Masai Mara, with living roofs and wide angle views across the reserve below.

Five expansive cottage style bedrooms have been intricately designed, ensuring exceptional guest comfort. Each with it’s own soft lounge area with coffee station, fully stocked bar and fireplace (laid and lit for when you are back from a day on safari), huge bedrooms, indoor and outdoor showers,  window level deep bath and private lounging deck – all with breath taking views. A pair of binoculars should never be far from hand!

The heart of the property is the Mess Area with a large soft sitting area, centred around an open fireplace, dining area, thoughtfully curated library. Leading out onto the deck is a beautiful sunken firepit, lounge area, pool and hot tub. A separate cocktail bar is well placed behind the sunken firepit and, slightly separately, a traditional boma. The team extend warm-hearted hospitality – if it is possible, they will make it happen

Separately to the Mess Area is a well equipped gym and spa offering a variety of wellness treatments, salt bath, hair salon and it’s own terrace with loungers, plunge pool and outdoor shower.
