It is the adventure capital of New Zealand so a variety of activities including bungy jumping, sky diving, snow skiing or heli-skiing in winter, hiking, Shotover boat rides and adrenalin sports year round ,as well as golf on several top nearby courses. The Central Otago wine region and Arrowtown are also favorite attractions. It is the perfect place to be based in order to visit Glenorchy with the many hikes in this area and the famous dart river jet boat excursion. You can also experience incredible Helicopter and fixed wing trips into Milford and Doubtful Sound.
