Ngapali Bay Villas and Spa
Ngapali Bay Villas and Spa is a stylish beachfront hotel set on a secluded bay at the Northern end of Ngapali Beach. Designed by acclaimed British architect David Wordsworth, 32 thatched stand-alone villas are uniquely designed and decorated with an essence of understated luxury. Elegance and style are reflected in the use of fine cotton, local white marble and sandstone furnishings as well as one of a kind art pieces and antique artefacts from the many regions of Myanmar.
There are four villa types to choose from, all boasting high ceilings with picture windows and sea views. These range from vast Suites found right on the beach, to Sea View Villas set further back within the resort, yet still with partial ocean views. Many offer private plunge pools set in tropical gardens and all offer easy access to the soft sand beach.
The hotel’s Tamarind Restaurant opens out onto a terrace overlooking the beach, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a range of dishes including locally caught seafood. Treat yourself to a hand-picked wine or cocktail as you marvel at the magnificent sunset or kick off your shoes and enjoy an intimate barefoot Beach BBQ with a personalized menu.
The resort offers a handful of activities and adventures, including private boat trips to Pearl Island, snorkelling, and e-bicycle rentals for exploring nearby villages. Or relax by the hotels beach side swimming pool and pamper yourself with a treatment at the Frangipani Spa. For those looking for a peaceful beach retreat, Ngapali Bay Villas and Spa is an excellent choice.
