Singita Pamushana Lodge is one of Africa's most exclusive, remote safari lodges. Perched high on a sandstone ridge with spectacular views over the Malilangwe Dam and lush forest beyond, the lodge is surrounded by an astonishing wealth of wildlife.
Set in Zimbabwe’s remote southeast, an area that is virtually untouched, is Singita Pamushana Lodge. Accessed by a scheduled flight from Johannesburg twice weekly, catching your first glimpse of the 130,000 acre Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, it’s kopje’s, wildlife and ancient trees as you descend.
Home to one of the highest concentrations of black rhino, along with the Big Five, twice daily game drives through the acacia and baobab woodlands is simply magical as the experienced guides ensure you are close to the action.
From rolling grasslands where giraffe and elephant meander in peace to riverine woodlands where shy creatures suddenly appear from lush foliage; and from rocky outcrops favoured by big cats to hidden valleys where large herds of antelope roam and graze, each game drive has it’s own character and uncovers new treasures.
Activities at Singita Pamushana Lodge include the twice daily open-vehicle game drives (which can be booked exclusively for your party), bush walks, community visits, fishing in the dam, sundowner cruises, mountain biking, and rock art site visits.
True to Singita’s established reputation, Singita Pamushana Lodge offers exceptional luxury throughout, whilst in keeping with it’s natural surroundings and local culture. Thatched accommodation includes 4 standard suites, 3 family suites ( 2x 2-bedroom, 1 x3-bedroom) and 5-bedroom villa. Each suite is exceptionally private with it’s own infinity pool and views over the Malilangwe Dam.
Interlinking platforms throughout the property provide a variety of living spaces from which to appreciate the astounding natural beauty of the area. Expansive decks, cliff-top fire pit and bar deli overlooking provides the perfect setting for al fresco dining and fireside storytelling.
