The resident chef produces an exciting menu of contemporary Peruvian combined with traditional methods of Andean cooking. Rather than excluding local communities with their own kitchen gardens, the hotel supports local farmers with production of quinoa, potatoes, herbs, spices and local vegetables.
In much the same way, the excellent spa combines native healing methods with modern pampering. Local therapists deliver rejuvenating massages, facial and hydrotherapy treatments incorporating organic, locally grown Andean plants and herbs.
Rooms are simple but charming and designed using local textiles and artwork. Private verandas allow guests to relax in privacy or cosy up on the sofa watching flames flicker in the wood-burning stove. On warm, sunny days guests can relax by the swimming pool or use the hotel’s horses or bikes to explore the valley.
