Leobo Private Reserve is situated in the Waterberg region of South Africa, a 12,000-acre malaria-free reserve overlooking the Palala Valley. It is home to two spectacular private houses, The Observatory & the Lodge, which are both booked on an exclusive use basis. Guests can enjoy an remarkable array of activities, all arranged for them at the drop of a hat.

The Observatory is a masterpiece, ideal for couples or for families. This remarkable house is state-of-the-art, with breath-taking views and the ultimate in luxury. Serviced by a butler, maid and chef, it also has a heated infinity pool, and a jacuzzi on the roof. There is an automated Observatory that is perfect for stargazing.

All bedrooms and bathrooms are luxurious spaces. Both main bathrooms have baths and showers and the master bedroom features an outdoor shower. Towels, slippers and robes are provided and all electrical outlets cater for appliances from the UK, South Africa and Europe. Each bedroom has a private safe.

A private chef will customise a menu based on your preferences, using the freshest local produce available. Meals can be enjoyed inside, outside or at one of several beautiful locations in the bush.

Along with plains game safaris, guests can enjoy, quad bike safaris, cross country polaris, helicopter flying, clay pigeon shooting, riding safari, starlight safaris, fishing, Hippo camping, game viewing, kids fun, fresh-water swimming and sky diving.

As the reserve is rented on an exclusive basis only, you don’t share it with any other guests; it’s your playground for the duration of your stay. There are no timetabled game drives, rigid programs or meals at set times. You can go on game drives whenever you like, day or night – whenever suits you.
