With over 4,000 square feet of living space, you’ll have plenty of room to spread out, and the contemporary, Zen-like decor breathes a sense of calm into the villa.

Villa Alma Rosa’s wide-open floor plan allows sea breezes and natural light to fill its spaces. Natural stone and wood are accented by bright-colored Mexican textiles and local artwork. A gourmet kitchen boasts a Brazilian granite island, modern appliances and a breakfast bar that seats six. The sizeable kitchen opens to a dining area with a table that seats 12 guests, and beyond the dining area, you’ll find the living room with a casual seating area to enjoy margaritas and homemade guacamole. A wall of glass doors brings the outside in, and stunning views of the blue sea are framed by giant palm trees. When you want to escape with a book, follow the stairs to a peaceful studio complete with sofa and big flat-screen TV. One of the villa’s highlights is a roof deck with chaise lounges, where you can enjoy stunning beach vistas to one side and lush jungle views to the other.

Villa Alma Rosa has four bedrooms each with its own private bathroom and gorgeous ocean views. One bedroom on the first floor has a king bed, a twin bed, and a private terrace with a hammock. The other three suites are on the second floor, and feature king and twin beds. Each guest room is uniquely furnished with luxurious linens, pops of colour and access to a spacious terrace. One room has a double shower without a ceiling, so you can gaze at the stars while showering!

The villa opens to an outdoor living space that would be hard to beat. A covered terrace is the ideal spot to enjoy a delicious meal or just relax for cocktails as the sun sets. Comfy chaise lounge chairs surround the pool area, which also has an outdoor shower. When you crave activity, you can swim, snorkel or kayak the waters of the gorgeous Jade Beach in front of Villa Alma Rosa. The villa’s location, just south of Akumal, affords privacy, yet a short stroll down the beach takes you to town where you’ll find restaurants, shops, bars, diving, fishing, and spas. You may also want to explore the many other beaches nearby, as well as the magical freshwater cenotes.
