Partnering with Tusk
CONSERVATION THROUGH EXPLORATION
As longstanding friends to the charity, Exceptional Travel has supported Tusk for over a decade on the hugely successful Lewa Safari Marathon, held annually in Kenya, as well as ad hoc projects ranging from journalist support to traditional travel planning for donors. This collaboration has naturally strengthened over the years, and we are delighted to formalise the relationship by becoming one of Tusks partners.
Together, we are pioneering long term conservation travel, a sustainable way to support the protection of nature, wildlife and local communities through travel. Exceptional Travel are proud to be a travel partner to Tusk, enabling us to further our contribution to the charity and help strengthen their impact throughout Africa.
WHO ARE TUSK? Established in response to the poaching crisis in the 1980’s, Tusk have provided essential funding to pioneering conservation initiatives across more than 20 African countries, increasing vital protection for over 70 million hectares of land and more than 40 different threatened species.
By partnering with Africa’s leading and emerging conservationists, Tusk invests in their in-depth knowledge and expertise. The support dedicated to these conservation programmes provides essential help to accelerate growth from an innovative idea to a scalable solution that is sustainable for future generations.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU? Through our partnership with Tusk, when you travel with us, you not only make a positive impact to where you travel to around the world through our wide reaching responsible partnerships, but you will also directly contribute to the future sustainability of Tusk and its conservation partners.
HOW? Exceptional Travel commit 5% of their annual Profit to support Tusk’s mission.
