With European holiday prices expected to rise after Brexit, 2019 is the year to look further afield and plan a long-haul trip where your pound will go the extra mile. We have, therefore, picked five of our ‘sterling-stretcher’ destinations that not only deliver some of the most incredible travel experiences known, but also where the pound is particularly strong compared to exchange rate levels a few years ago.
Importantly, tourism also forms a vital part of the economy in each of the countries featured, and some of our favourite properties are offering extremely attractive room rates in an effort to entice travellers back.
