Weathering the Storm
A message from Toby and the Exceptional Travel Team in light of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Dear Friends,
These are extraordinary times. Like so many industries, the world of travel has been knocked sideways and we are in uncharted waters. With the situation seemingly changing hourly, and with countries closing their borders like dominos, there is no doubt that these are unprecedented and challenging circumstances.
However we are no stranger to challenge. We have worked through ash clouds, earthquakes, acts of terrorism and devastating tornados. We have operated through Brexit, multiple financial crashes and Middle Eastern wars. COVID-19 presents a completely different test but we will show our resolve and come through it stronger.
We are also realists and appreciate that, given that the latest government advice is recommending against all but essential travel overseas, that the last thing on your mind will be about booking a holiday to a far flung destination. Indeed we feel that it would be negligent and wrong to encourage you to do so in a time of such uncertainty.
Rest assured however that for those who have already booked with us for later in the year that we will continue to monitor the situation closely and, should it arise that you will need to postpone your holiday, then there are very flexible terms being offered by our global partners. As ever each booking will be looked after with the same care and attention that they always are and we would like to reassure you that we will do all we can to protect both you and your experience.
So, for the time being it looks like we are in for a bumpy ride but when our governments do succeed in beating the virus, and the world unfurls its wings to us once again, we will be here to help with your plans to visit it again. The planet will be just as beautiful and its communities and curiosities will be waiting with open arms to welcome you back.
Until then do please keep an eye out for our ‘Isolation Escapism’ emails and social media activity on Instagram and Facebook. Whilst we cannot currently physically transport you to our destinations themselves, we do hope that they will offer you a welcome distraction as we sit this out and act as an inspiration for your next adventure.
